Radium is the community I’ve chosen to call home.

I moved permanently to Radium in 2017 after visiting the Columbia Valley for many years. My family has strong ties to the Valley, and today several generations of our family call this area home.

Since moving here, I’ve become deeply involved in the community through business, economic development and volunteer service. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside many people who care deeply about Radium and the Columbia Valley.

I believe strong communities are built by people who are willing to get involved.

Having my family here in the Columbia Valley gives me another perspective on the decisions we make as a community. We aren’t only making decisions for today — many of the choices we make will shape Radium for years to come.

I want Radium to continue to be a community where people of all ages can build a life, raise a family, run a business, retire and enjoy everything that makes this such a special place.

I believe we have a responsibility to make thoughtful decisions today while keeping an eye on the community we’re leaving for the next generation.

Giving back has always been important to me.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in leadership roles with community, business and service organizations. Here in Radium and the Columbia Valley, that involvement has included the Radium Hot Springs Rotary Club, the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce and community economic development.

I enjoy working with people who bring different perspectives to the table and finding practical ways to turn ideas into action.

Community leadership isn’t about one person having all the answers. It’s about bringing people together and getting things done.

I bring decades of management, business and community leadership experience to the role of Mayor..

I’ve spent much of my working life building and managing businesses, leading organizations and working with people to solve practical problems. That experience has meant managing budgets, making difficult decisions, planning for the future and being accountable for the results.

At the same time, community service has been an important part of my life for decades. I’ve had the privilege of serving in leadership roles including President of the New Westminster Chamber of Commerce, President of the Raymond Burr Performing Arts Society and President of the North Delta Rotary Club.

Since moving to the Columbia Valley, I’ve continued that involvement through the Columbia Valley Chamber of Commerce, community economic development and the Radium Hot Springs Rotary Club.

Together, those experiences have taught me that good leadership requires both sound management and the ability to listen, work with different perspectives and bring people together around practical solutions.

A Commitment to Community

I’ve always believed that being part of a community means contributing to it. Whether through service organizations, business groups or local initiatives, I’ve tried to give my time and experience where I can make a difference.
